Kustom PCs
The old-skool Scots were out in full force, supplying attendees with mouse mats, headsets, and outrageously powerful graphics cards. Of more interest to us, they had a few outstanding mods too.
Kustom will shortly be unveiling a new laser-cutting service, meaning you can have a funky design cut into the side or the top of your case. Not only that, they're now also offering aluminium anodizing. This means that you can have a nice aluminium chassis electro-coated in a colour of your choice, then cut to shreds in a custom design. Sounds like a bonza plan to me.
The left hand picture here shows the bright yellow of the anodizing on this PC60, and the picture on the right shows a close up of the laser cut on top. The quality of the finish on both mods is absolutely astounding.
As you'd expect of something cut by "lay-zer", the edging is perfect. We'll be featuring more of this over the coming weeks - prepare for a custom laser
bit-tech design!

Aqua Computer
Kustom work very closely with the people at Aqua-Computer, the well-known purveyors of bling-bling watercooling kit. One of the Aqua-Computer chaps rocked up to the LAN to game with some friends, and we took the opportunity to grab a look at his system.
The rig is based inside a Lian-Li chassis and is completely watercooled, as you might expect.
The interior is a maze of tubing and cables. The water is UV-coloured with green dye, and the tubing is all wrapped with Chameleon springs. There is a 7800 GTX with the appropriate Aqua-Computer cooler, and the memory is Corsair Xpert with the awesome readouts on top.
